Our facilities are warm and inviting with children’s artwork adorning the walls. We celebrate the creativity and curiosity of the young child. As you enter our lobby you’ll feel the energy of a dynamic and distinctive preschool. York Avenue has several self contained and newly renovated classrooms, each with a kitchenette and bathroom. The children enjoy the use of our state of the art playground, located in our plaza.Although it is a separate entity with its own classrooms, York Avenue Preschool shares the facility with Gym Time, Rhythm and Glues, a program which provides daily and after school programs of sports, music, art, cooking and other activities for toddlers, preschoolers and older students up to the age of 12. |

Our Parents’ Association has many events through the year which depend on parents to volunteer their time and services. Watching our students grow and blossom is one of the great joys of teaching. Our responsibilities as educators are to prepare our children to leave the school with a love of learning. Confidence, ability to express themselves along with the knowledge of the alphabet and number correlations are all mastered in the Fours/Pre-K class. more>> |
